Rangamati, a small low altitude village centering Tea Gardens and a less popular tourist spot, belongs to Jalpaiguri Division of North Bengal. This place is located at Himalayan foothill call Duarse. This place has been developed centering Tea Estate. The place produces some high quality Tea Leaf. Rangamati, original name Rungamuttee, is a British settlement as the soil and weather are quite ideal to produce some high quality tea. Beautiful landscape with green carpeted wide stretched tea gardens and green forests nearby of Rangamati attracts tourist to explore the relatively new destination.
