Varsey is a Rhododendron Sanctuary situated between Singalila National Park in the south and Khangchendzonga Biosphere Reserve in the north. The nearly 100 square km sanctuary is located in west Sikkim. Apart from wide variety of bio-diversity, main attraction of the place is Rhododendron which blooms in March-April. Versay is trekkers paradise as many high-altitude trekking starts from here. Though there is no motor-able way but the place is must to visit by 4 or less Km easy trekking.
How to reach:
Siliguri to Jorethang it takes around 3.15 hrs, approx 83 Km. Jorethang to Hilley is around 48Km, takes around 2.15 hrs. Hilley to Versay is only 4 Kms trek in almost plane.

Mesmerizing beauty of nature, along with glimpse of Kanchanjangha range. Hilley – Versay is a trek route for beginners and caters all age group, High-altitude trekking is starting from Versay towards Singalila Pass.
