Nathang Valley situated in the middle of Old Silk Route circuit in east Sikkim, near India-China border. Nathang Valley has magnificent appearance in different seasons of the year. Valley is golden in autumn, covered with flowers in monsoon, covered with 4-5 feet Snow in winter. Valley is home of many migratory birds. There is endless grassland surrounded by high altitude mountains. This place is having most scenic beauty in Old Silk Route. Tourists usually stay at this altitude snow cladded valley for a day only but the memories of Nathang valley is just awesome. Better visit for experience than describe.
How to reach:
Siliguri or Bagdogra to Kalimpong or Gangtok; Kalimpong to Nathang it takes around 4 hrs via Zuluk, approx 110 Km. Zuluk to Nathang 45min 23km. Gangtok to Nathang is around 70Km, takes around 2 hrs.
